Caring Callers – Be a Caring Caller: You can become a Caring Caller if you agree to make a one hour visit per week to your senior friend. New volunteers must also attend a brief training and orientation. Senior Peer Counseling – Be a Senior Peer Counselor: You can become a Senior Peer Counselor if you are 55 or older and can visit a senior one hour per week. The initial in-depth volunteer training is free and there are weekly supervision meetings that help counselors build skills and confidence.
