As a service to patients receiving other skilled services, who have lifestyle issues that are related to their injury or illness, Social Workers assist the patient and his/her family or caregivers in coping and/or resolving social or emotional problems by accessing community resources (e.g. home delivered meals), assessment of financial resources; and counseling related to personal matters and relationships.
